Alberto Musalem becomes St Louis Fed president

Musalem will start on April 2 and be a voting member of FOMC in 2025

Alberto Musalem will be the next president of the Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis, the US Federal Reserve board of governors announced on January 4. 

Musalem’s most recent role was as chief executive of Evince Asset Management, an investment technology firm. He was an executive vice-president at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from 2014 to 2017. Musalem has also worked as an economist at the International Monetary Fund.
