
People: Philadelphia Fed hires new number two

US: The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia announced Jeanne Rentzelas would become its new number-two official, starting November 16. Rentzelas will succeed James Narron as first vice-president and chief operating officer. Narron is retiring from the Fed.
Rentzelas has worked at the Philadelphia Fed since 2010. She has been bank’s general counsel and ethics officer, with the rank of senior vice-president, since 2013. Before joining the Philadelphia Fed, Rentzelas served as legal counsel at
