Former MAS assistant managing director tipped to take over the role

Monetary Authority of Singapore managing director Ravi Menon is set to leave the institution later this year after a 12-year stint as chief, reports say.

Menon’s term is due to end on May 31. He is likely to be replaced by Chia Der Jiun, a former MAS assistant managing director, according to quotes from people familiar with the matter.
