Basel: The governors of the Bank of England and Saudi Central Bank (Sama) have been appointed to lead two of the Financial Stability Board’s steering committees.

From October 19, the BoE’s Andrew Bailey is responsible for the FSB’s Supervisory and Regulatory Co-operation (SRC) committee. He succeeds Himino Ryozo, former commissioner of Japan’s Financial Services Agency.
