People: Chile’s central bank appoints new general manager
FCA makes appointments to legal team; Haitian governor to lead financial inclusion initiative
Chile: The board of the Central Bank of Chile has appointed Beltrán de Ramón to the role of general manager. He assumed the post today (July 1) and succeeds Alejandro Zurbuchen Silva who retired on June 16.
In his new role, Ramón will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and administrative function of the central bank. This includes executing the central bank’s strategic plan and risk management policies.
