UK: The UK government reappointed Sam Woods as the Bank of England’s deputy governor for prudential regulation and chief executive of the Prudential Regulation Authority. Woods will serve a second five-year term, concluding in June 2026.
Woods began work at the Financial Services Authority in 2011. When the UK dissolved the FSA in 2013, Woods moved to its successor the PRA, part of the Bank of England. He worked as executive director in charge of insurance supervision between early 2015 and
