Greece: The Bank of Greece announced that Christina Papaconstantinou, who has played a prominent role in dealing with the country’s troubled banks, has become one of its deputy governors.

A Greek Orthodox bishop administered Papaconstantinou’s oath of office on March 11 before Greece’s president Katerina Sakellaropoulou and central bank governor Yannis Stournaras.
