FCA undergoes reshuffle of senior managers

The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority has appointed Sheldon Mills to head up its newly formed consumers and competition directorate, following an internal reshuffle.

The new executive director role was created in November when it was announced the FCA’s two supervision divisions would be brought together and merged with the policy and competition functions.

The merging of the departments will create a single division led by two executive directors: one focused on the FCA’s consumer protection
