People: Thailand appoints new deputy governor



The board of directors of the Bank of Thailand appointed a new deputy governor of financial institutions stability on May 23. The appointee, Ronadol Numnonda, will take office on October 1.

Numnonda joined the central bank in 1997 as an executive in the reserve management office. He went on to become director of financial risk management and operations in 2009.

Numnonda then became director of the bank’s human resources office in 2010 and of its strategy office in 2011. He is
