Slovakia: Slovakia’s president, Andrej Kiska, appointed Ľudovít Ódor as deputy governor of the National Bank of Slovakia on February 20. The government nominated Ódor and the parliament sanctioned his nomination on February 7.

Ódor has been involved in economic policymaking in Slovakia at various levels, including monetary and fiscal affairs. He co-authored reform plans designed for the adoption of the euro in 2009, as well as tax, pension and fiscal reforms.
