People: Cleviston Haynes handed full governorship

Barbados: Cleviston Haynes has become governor of the Central Bank of Barbados, having already served as acting governor for almost a year.
Haynes was made acting governor in February 2017, after the previous governor, Delisle Worrell, was sacked following a court battle. Worrell was accused of having a dictatorial management style, and also angered the government by speaking out against what he saw as excessive borrowing.
