MPs clash with UK chancellor over diversity in central bank

Nicky Morgan: “disappointed” with UK chancellor Philip Hammond

The chair of the UK’s Treasury Select Committee has said she is “disappointed” with the chancellor’s response to a letter in which she raised concerns the Treasury was not doing enough to encourage diversity at the Bank of England.
