United States: Ricardo Aguilera has been appointed the new chief financial officer and director of financial management at the Federal Reserve, succeeding Bill Mitchell, who retired after 24 years of board service.

Aguilera will leave his current post as comptroller of the US Air Force to head the department, which supports the US central bank’s board’s financial decision-making and strategic planning.
