People: RBA names two new assistant governors; Barbadian deputy governor retires

Australia: The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has undergone a reshuffle in its upper echelons, which saw Luci Ellis and Lindsay Boulton fill the two vacant assistant governor positions. Several people were appointed to head departments.

Ellis, who moves from her role as head of financial stability, will now act as assistant governor for economics. Since joining the bank in 1991, she has worked in the economic analysis and research departments. Ellis also spent two years on secondment to the
