People: New chair at Richmond Fed; Norwegian takes executive directorship at IMF

Sally Green is retiring after 35 years with the Fed

US: The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond has appointed a new chair and deputy chair of its board of directors. Linda Rabbitt, chairman and chief executive of Rand Construction Corp, will take up the position of chair, while Russell Lindner, chairman and chief executive officer of The Forge Company, is the new deputy chair.

Rabbitt is part way through her second three-year term on the board of directors, having joined in 2009. Lindner was elected to a second term at the same time as his year-long
