World Bank economist has replaced Tunisian governor: central bank source

Taoufik Baccar, the governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia, has left the central bank amid a wave of resignations by senior government officials following the government's collapse last week.

A source at the Central Bank of Tunisia on Tuesday told CentralBanking.com Baccar was no longer governor as of Monday and that Mustapha Kamel Nabli, the chief economist for Middle East and North Africa at the World Bank, had been selected as his replacement.
