Trump to inspect Fed buildings in Washington

Visit comes as central bank’s chair faces continued flak over renovations bill and refusal to cut rates

US president Donald Trump plans to visit the Federal Reserve’s headquarters buildings in Washington DC at 16.00 local time today (July 24).  

In announcing the news yesterday, the White House said Trump would be joined by his deputy chief of staff James Blair.
