Cuba replaces central bank governor

Head of foreign exchange body takes over from Wilson González

Cuba’s government replaced Marta Sabina Wilson González as central bank governor on February 15, appointing Joaquín Alonso Vázquez instead.

Wilson González has led the central bank since December 2019. The Cuban council of state provided no reason for the change.
