Candidate’s many controversies are not yet enough to derail his Fed nomination

Potential Federal Reserve board nominee Stephen Moore is still on course to be formally nominated, despite further criticism from top Democrats, a White House official said.

“Steve Moore is in,” White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow reportedly said in an interview on Fox Business Network. He confirmed that if the vetting process “looks good”, Moore will be nominated, Reuters reported.

“We stand completely behind him,” Kudlow said. “I think he would give us a breath of fresh air on the Fed
