
People: Sri Lanka and Nigeria add new monetary policy-makers; and more

Sri Lanka: The Central Bank of Sri Lanka appointed assistant governor CJP Siriwardana secretary to the monetary board on July 14, the bank said this week.
Siriwardana, who is responsible for the bank's economic research and international operations, replaced P Samarasiri, assistant governor in charge of exchange control, currency and finance.
Siriwardana joined the Central Bank of Sri Lanka as a staff officer in 1986. He is currently working on a new sovereign rating strategy for Sri Lanka in
