
BoE outlines DLT proof of concept

The Bank of England is working on a proof of concept of distributed ledger technology (DLT) as part of the overhaul of its real-time gross settlement system (RTGS), it announced today (March 28).
Fintech companies Baton Systems, Clearmatics Technologies, R3 and Token will work with the BoE on the project, the results of which will be presented later this year.
