Libya says cyber security incident under control
No indication that customer accounts have been compromised, central bank says
The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) has said the cyber security incident it reported earlier this month has been fully contained.
The CBL said on June 9 that it had detected a cyber security incident affecting “certain systems and technical services”. It responded by enacting emergency response procedures and business continuity plans, and by isolating potentially affected systems, according to a statement issued at the time.
The central bank added that specialised technical teams were co-operating
