Helder Lopes says ‘structural shifts’ of AI, climate and cyber security require urgent adaptation
Credibility, sound policy and co-operation are key to central banks’ efforts to drive growth and build resilience, the governor of the Central Bank of Timor Leste (BCTL) has said.
In a keynote speech today (March 31) at the Central Banking Meetings, Kuala Lumpur, Helder Lopes said central banks the world over were being challenged by the need to respond to digital transformation, climate change, cyber security threats and the impact of AI. Societies were also demanding greater financial inclusion
