Use AI for ‘deeper insights’, not to make decisions – CBBH head
Selimović also discusses payments and reserves at Central Banking’s Kuala Lumpur meetings
Central bankers should not entrust artificial intelligence to make decisions and instead use it for “deeper insights”, the governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) has said.
In her keynote speech today (March 31) at the Central Banking Meetings, Kuala Lumpur, Jasmina Selimović explained that AI lacked the contextual understanding provided to central bank governors, whose speeches were “carefully shaped” by their staff.
