Selimović urges rethink of central banking amid constant disruption and uncertainty

The governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has said monetary authorities are being pushed beyond their traditional roles as they try to maintain stability in a world shaped by overlapping crises.

In a keynote presentation at the Central Banking Summer Meetings in London yesterday (June 11), Jasmina Selimović said the expectations being placed on central banks were growing in a financial environment beset with risks.

“We no longer build stability in a predictable world,” Selimović
