Seven other organisations join as Trump defeat frees Fed to join green network

The Federal Reserve joined the Network for Greening the Financial Sector today (December 15), along with seven other organisations.

The move follows the electoral defeat of US president Donald Trump, who withdrew the US from the Paris Agreement on combating climate change. It comes three years after the group of central banks and financial supervisors was created.
