The governor of the Reserve Bank of South Africa has said restoring investor and consumer confidence is key to South Africa’s economic recovery.

“Regulatory and policy uncertainty, as well as corruption and a lack of direction in some areas, have all sapped consumer and investor confidence and weakened private-sector investment,” Lesetja Kganyago said on November 9.
