Opposition politicians call for Malaysian central bank to reopen probe

Move follows US government lawsuit claiming over $1.6 billion in assets and damages

Politicians from Malaysia’s largest opposition party are calling on the central bank to reopen its probe into the massive diversion of funds from a state-owned investment fund, 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
