The quality of European banks' loan portfolios remains a concern for the European Banking Authority (EBA) despite showing some signs of improvement in the second quarter, according to the latest risk dashboard published by the regulator.

The EBA's risk dashboard is part of the authority's regular risk assessment summarising the main vulnerabilities in the European Union's banking sector.
