Inflation to fluctuate around bottom of target range, Botswanan report says

Botswana's latest policy review shows optimistic outlook for inflation

Inflation is forecast to fluctuate around the lower end of the target range of 3–6% in the medium term, a report published by the Bank of Botswana said on August 25. CPI annual inflation measured 2.7% in July.

The mid-term policy review explained upside risk to the inflation outlook would relate to any "considerable" adjustment in administered prices and government levies, as well as an increase in international oil prices.
