BIS’s Shin highlights global liquidity dilemma for EMs

Head of research points to uncomfortable balancing act among emerging markets

Emerging markets may struggle to maintain balance in their financial systems in the face of global liquidity flows, Hyun Song Shin, head of research at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), said on December 11.
