Research promotes regional approach to financial stability in Asean

Paper sees vulnerabilities emerging as integration leads to financial deepening


While regulatory harmonisation is "appropriate" across the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean), it is "equally important" to take a regional approach to financial stability, according to research published by the IMF on February 23.
