Emerging market volatility not a sign of crisis, says Malaysian supervisor

An outflow of foreign cash from emerging markets during the past few months does not mean another financial crisis is brewing, and comparisons with other emerging markets shocks are "unduly alarmist", according to Malaysia's top securities regulator.
