Norges Bank says third of crypto owners had ‘negative’ experience

Biannual survey shows most Norwegians have never heard of DeFi or stablecoins

Thirty-five per cent of Norwegians who previously held crypto assets told the Norges Bank that they had had “negative” experiences with them.

In its biennial survey, published on June 5, the central bank found that most Norwegians still did not engage with crypto assets, even though 97% of the population were aware of the instruments.
