NY Fed study points to more tariff-related inflation in US
Survey shows many firms plan to pass on further costs to customers over coming months
Many US businesses have not finished passing on the costs of tariffs to their customers, according to the latest research from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
In its latest regional business surveys, the results of which were published on July 8, the New York Fed tracked pass-through behaviour by companies that paid tariffs directly.
