AI will transform growth and employment structure – Bailey

Artificial intelligence will transform the economy and induce sizable changes to the structure of the jobs market, but exactly when and how this will happen remains unclear, the governor of the Bank of England has said.

In a speech in Sheffield on May 21, Andrew Bailey linked AI to previous waves of technological change, from the industrial revolution to the invention of the internet.
