The International Monetary Fund has praised efforts by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) to tackle inflation after announcing the disbursal of around $0.5 billion in budgetary support to the country.

The IMF yesterday (June 30) completed its eighth review of Ukraine’s extended fund facility (EFF). The institution said the country’s economy remained resilient and that the authorities had met all its continuous quantitative performance criteria.
