BIS names top journals for central bank research

Not all of the top five general economics journals make the list, and finance journals miss top spots

The Bank for International Settlements has published a paper revealing what researchers believe are the top academic journals for economics in the field of central banking.

Raphael Auer and Giulio Cornelli of the BIS and Christian Zimmermann of the Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis build a ranking based on “simple impact factors”.
