Consumers must be informed of access to cash changes – FCA

Financial services firms must inform consumers and the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority in advance of any changes made to access to cash.

In guidance published today (September 14), the FCA says firms must give consumers 12 weeks’ notice if plans are made to close branches or ATMs, or to convert free-to-use ATMs into pay-to-use.
