Eric Rosengren says there is a ‘compelling argument’ for waiting to raise rates
Federal Reserve Bank of Boston president Eric Rosengren today (June 1) argued the conditions for the Fed to begin tightening monetary policy "have not yet been met".
Assessing economic data from the first half of the year, Rosengren, speaking at an event in Connecticut, said there was a "compelling argument for continued patience in monetary policy".
