ECB’s Cœuré concerned about online card fraud


Benoît Cœuré, member of the executive board of the ECB, expressed regret about the state of online payment services, in a speech on November 21. Speaking at a European Payments Council Meeting in La Hulpe in Belgium, Cœuré said the market has made "limited progress" in internet payments and he encouraged greater innovation.
