Zambian deputy governor wants greater female inclusion

The deputy governor of the Bank of Zambia, Tukiya Kankasa-Mabula, on September 26 urged women to "make themselves visible" and proactively seek out financial opportunities.

Speaking at the Month of the Woman Entrepreneur Conference in Lusaka, Zambia, Kankasa-Mabula said women's limited access to affordable financial services was constraining the country's growth.

To help balance the scales, Kankasa-Mabula instructed women to engage financial services providers and "make them appreciate the needs
