Bank of Korea governor on adaptation to global environment

The governor of the Bank of Korea, Choongsoo Kim, delivered a speech today (June 12) in which he outlined the need for the central bank to adapt to the changing global economic environment.

Marking the central bank's 62nd anniversary, the governor stressed the increasing interdependence of economic policy, both domestically and internationally. He said the "importance of building networks among central banks is growing larger by the day", adding that "it is becoming the norm in many countries
