MAS deputy highlights challenges of structural change

Ong Chong Tee, deputy managing director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, on May 7 explained some of the core issues and challenges related to structural changes in the Singapore economy following the global financial crisis.

Delivering a speech at the SKBI Annual Conference on Financial Economics at the Singapore Management University, the deputy said there was much scope for further study, including joint collaboration between academia and policy-makers in analysing the real impacts.
