Lagarde calls for China to pursue a looser monetary policy

International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief executive, Christine Lagarde, has called for China to pursue a policy of monetary expansion accompanied by broader market liberalisation and a strengthening of regulatory frameworks so that the country can play a leading role as a driver of future economic growth.
