Praet stresses importance of sticking to monetary policy mandate


Peter Praet, a member of the executive board of the European Central Bank (ECB), on February 20 shared his thoughts on monetary policy at crisis times.

Speaking at the International Center for Monetary and Banking Studies in Geneva, he said the ECB response to the sovereign debt "challenges" had been "swift and resolute".
