HKMA’s Lau lays out strategy for regulating OTC derivatives

Edmond Lau, an executive director at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, on Tuesday said regulation of over-the-counter derivatives in Hong Kong will need to be aligned with international standards but also take into account domestic factors.
