BoE’s Miles explains resumption of QE

David Miles, an external member on the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), on Monday said lower-than-expected domestic inflationary pressures and the reemergence of stress in financial markets had led the MPC to resume its asset purchase programme.
