Global outlook has deteriorated: Sarb’s Marcus
Gill Marcus, the governor of the South African Reserve Bank, on Thursday said the global economic outlook had deteriorated markedly since its last monetary policy meeting due to events in Europe and the US.
In a monetary policy statement issued by the South African Reserve Bank, Marcus said: "Events in the eurozone appear to have entered a new phase, with the focus moving from the peripheral countries to some of the larger economies in the region. The global systemic risks posed by any failure
