RBI’s Chakrabarty: banks must embrace technology
Kamalesh Chandra Chakrabarty, the deputy governor of the Reserve Bank of India, on Thursday said banks should employ a clear strategy and planned approach to the adoption of technology in the future.
Speaking at a roundtable event in Mumbai, India, Chakrabarty said: "For a plan to succeed there must be a vision and strategy driving implementation. There is clearly an absence of vision of how technology is going to drive business and customer relationship."
